Changing lives, moment by moment.
Paediatric Occupational Therapy & Matrescence Support for WOMEN
What we do
At Moment by Moment, everything we do flows from our belief that all families, kids, and care givers deserve to feel supported, educated and empowered. Our holistic approach has led us to offer three interconnected streams of care:

About Us
At Moment by Moment, we understand the importance of balance. While we're serious about making a positive impact, we know how to infuse joy and lightness into each session so development can feel fun.
We operate with the understanding that transformative therapy can happen anywhere – be it in the cosiness of home, the vibrant outdoors, a school atmosphere, or through accessible online sessions.
How we work
Our 5-step process is designed to create a supportive and collaborative environment, setting the stage for meaningful progress and lasting therapy success.
-
We’ll begin with a thorough evaluation of where your child is at. This will include time for some in-depth discussion (with you and with your child) so we can build a deep understanding of their world and their unique personality.
-
We’ll develop a personalised therapy plan designed to empower your child, collaborating closely with you as an integral contributor in the planning process.
-
Our therapy sessions are designed to be enjoyable and impactful, incorporating activities that are meaningful to children and adolescents.
We focus on building essential skills that foster independence, integrating therapy seamlessly into everyday life. Throughout the process, we provide continuous support and guidance, ensuring progress and celebrating achievements, big and small.
-
We believe in transparency and open communication. We’ll prioritise checking in with you to discuss your child's development and adjust the therapy plan as needed.
Your feedback and insights are vital, helping us refine our approach and ensuring that the therapy journey remains collaborative and effective.
-
We love working with families who are ready to lean into the many layers of developmental learning – what you do outside of therapy can make a huge difference in getting great results. We equip families with the tools, resources and support to help them continue to foster their child's independence beyond the therapy session.
Resources for parents
The transition into parenthood changes more than your role. It changes you, too.
Becoming a parent is more than learning to care for a child. It's a profound transition that can reshape your identity, relationships, nervous system, and the way you experience yourself. If you've been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you've lost parts of who you are, you're not alone.
Rewoven Reset
A gentle, self-paced 4-week journey for parents who want to better understand themselves in the transition to parenthood.
Through four guided themes—Awareness, Overwhelm, Reconnection and Support—you'll gain a deeper understanding of what's happening beneath the surface, reconnect with yourself, and explore simple, practical ways to support your nervous system with greater self-compassion.
Inside you'll receive
Rewoven Reset Workbook & Guided Audio
A thoughtfully designed workbook paired with four guided audio reflections from Sam. Move through each section at your own pace as you reflect, make sense of your experience, and reconnect with yourself.
Nervous System Toolkit
A practical guide with simple, occupational therapy-informed strategies to support your nervous system when you're overwhelmed, emotionally flat, or feeling on edge.

27 Journal Prompts for Mums, Dads & Care Givers.
Some days in parenthood pass in a blur, and you reach the end of them without ever checking in with yourself.
Rewoven Reflections is a gentle set of 27 prompts to help you do exactly that. Questions like What am I carrying that no one sees? and What would "enough" look like today? — designed to be answered in a few quiet minutes, whenever you need them.
No pressure to complete them all. No right way to do it. Just space to notice where you are.
A self-guided resource for overwhelmed mothers.
Becoming a mother stirs every part of you. Some days you feel grounded. Others, like you're quietly unravelling.
The First Thread is an invitation to pause and see where you actually are, not where you think you "should" be. Inside, you'll find three simple frameworks created by an occupational therapist:
The Whole of You: an exercise to assess how nourished you feel across the areas that shape your day.
The Energy Compass: to understand your everyday energy and emotional states.
Three Gentle Resets, two-minute practices to calm your nervous system in the moment.
Ideal for reading and doing in between busy day activities with a nice cuppa.
